Job Description

The Manager Sales - Health Care will be responsible for managing the day-to-day focus of assigned individuals. They will assist team members in creating new profit streams within customers. The role requires providing weekly reports to track progress against responsibilities. The Manager will be guiding the Account Executives on prospecting in the healthcare space, coaching them on positioning Zones' value, and coaching on issues faced. They will also manage annual targets, year-over-year growth, and day-to-day issues related to team members.
Must have:
  • Thorough knowledge of the healthcare IT sales market in the United States.
  • Knowledge about premier and other Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs).

Position Overview:

 

This individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day focuses of all assigned individuals, as well as continuing to help team members creating new profit streams within customers. They will also be required to provide weekly reports to track progress against the below responsibilities & measurables.

Functional Responsibilities:
 

  • Have a thorough knowledge of how the healthcare IT sales market operates in the US and have hands on experience of working in healthcare IT sales.
  • Have thorough knowledge about premier and other GPO’s.
  • Have basic knowledge about healthcare specific partners of Zones in addition to the knowledge about our core partners.
  • Guiding the AE’s on how to prospect in healthcare space.
  • Coaching them on how to correctly position Zones value in general as well as healthcare specific over phone calls and emails.
  • Consistently coaching AE’s on issues they face while they perform day to day prospecting and additionally coaching to improve their work ethic, resilience and mental strength to cope with challenges that comes with prospecting in healthcare space.
  • End to end coaching of AE’s on Zones sales process and all the internal processes related to business.
  • Annual Targets fulfilment
  • Year over Year growth for assigned accounts within team
  • Managing day-to-day issues related to team members
  • Hunting New Business (prospecting)
  • Expanding Business with Collaboration with UK, India & Global Teams
  • Monthly forecasting
  • Supporting and facilitating a learning culture through available WiGs trainings ensuring participation and attendance.
  • Thorough engagement with team members to ensure your part as a knowledge hub for ALL team members.
  • Have the capability to resolve and drive customer opportunities, requests and issues within the organization.
  • Celebrate wins and maintain a culture of accountability for underperforming team members.
  • Have the capability to utilize the organization’s provided tools to increase customer base by new customer acquisition.

 

Administrative Responsibilities: 

 

  • Holiday / Annual Leave Cover 
  • Procurement & Service Sales Issues to be resolved by Division leader. 
  • Responsible for ensuring that AEs are given correct support & training (supported by leadership) 
  • Customer Interaction and structured email response templates 
  • Initial OEM / Customer Discussion & Negotiation 
  • Back-end Process 
  • System Behaviour 
  • CE hygiene 
  • Zones High-Level Presentation  
  • Team Pipeline Reporting  
  • Ensuring all Opportunities are logged in the system and updated for tracking purposes. 
  • Holding weekly meetings with Division Leader to highlight any team issues.
