Job Description

The Payments Controller at Google will identify and mitigate financial risks related to process changes, provide financial records to auditors, and assist in developing process documentation. They will use data to monitor business performance and extract meaningful insights. The role requires strong analytical skills, communication with senior management, and collaboration with cross-functional and international teams. Responsibilities include working on well-defined tasks within projects, managing time effectively, and following work plans. Must have:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2 years finance/treasury experience
Cross-functional initiative experience
Financial reporting expertise
Strong analytical and communication skills

Spreadsheet technology proficiency

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in finance or treasury, working on cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA), MBA, or MSA.
Experience with processes, controls, and financial reporting.
Experience with spreadsheet technology.
Ability to have a collaborative style and work with cross-functional and international teams. Ability to assist with well-defined tasks within a project, manage time, and follow work plans.
Ability to have strong attention to detail, organizational skills and focus on continuous improvement.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $81,000-$119,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with new changes to existing processes.
