Required Qualification & Experience
B. E. / B. Tech (Electrical or Electronics and Communication)
Experience of 4-10 years in developing test-fixtures or automated test solutions for electronic PCBAs, while working with an Electronics Manufacturing Company.
Required Skills
- Expertise in NI TestStand and NI LabVIEW (CTD/ CLD certification preferable)
- Expertise in using JTAG Provision on complex digital PCBAs having multiple JTAG chains and components like FPGAs, DDRs, SPI Flashes, Clusters, Logic gates and high-density connectors.
- Sound knowledge and experience in developing Bed-Of-Nail test fixtures.
- Sound knowledge and experience in ATEs and Instrument-Control using LabVIEW.
- Strong fundamentals about electronic/electrical components, and electronic circuits.
- Good Communication, Project management, Problem solving and analysis skills

Roles and Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of PCBA test-fixtures and test-software
- Independently develop new PCBA test-software using NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW and JTAG Provision.
- Development of DFT feedback to R&D, after analyzing PCB schematic and layout.
- Providing support of local production for smooth testing and high FPY.
- Providing support to overseas EMS test-engineering team for optimizing and troubleshooting the running test-fixtures
- Documentation of owned test-fixtures (Fixture wiring diagram, test-coverage, Test Directive, etc.)
- Continuous improvement initiatives and implementing improvement suggestions.
- Ensure the application of the standard processes in the domain.
- Initiatives for improving OEE and FPY on owned test-setups and fixtures.
- Test time reduction and cost saving initiatives.
- Debugging PCBA test-sequences and VIs using instruments like AC/DC Power supplies, Digital Oscilloscopes, DAQ devices, Multiplexer, Function Generator, etc.
