The Quebec Regional Manager will be responsible for driving growth and increasing market share in Canada for GGPoker, aiming to make it the top online destination for poker players in the country. The role involves managing the overall Profit & Loss for the Canadian market, integrating marketing efforts, optimizing websites for the Canadian market, developing and implementing marketing strategies, contributing to campaign ideas, collaborating with the content team, working with the Business Development team, planning and negotiating media buys, analyzing marketing activities, and staying informed about the market and competition. The manager will report to the Managing Director of GGPoker.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of Marketing or Business Development experience.
  • Deep knowledge of the Canadian poker landscape.
  • Understanding of Performance and Channel Marketing.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Slack.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Immaculate attention to detail.
  • Proven problem solving skills.
Good to have:
  • A passion for online gaming, including poker and sports betting.

GGPoker holds the largest online poker market share globally, and we are looking to add talented and passionate individuals that will help us maintain being number one.

Purpose:

We are seeking a Quebec Regional Manager with a deep understanding of the Canadian Poker market to drive our growth and increase our market share across Canada. Your goal will be making GGPoker THE online destination for all poker players in Canada.

You will report directly to the Managing Director of GGPoker.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the Overall P&L responsibility for the Canadian market, acquire customers sustainably, and deliver growth in accordance with set budget and targets
  • Integrate and coordinate marketing internal marketing talent and processes, enlisting different teams, processes, and marketing verticals (performance and channel marketing, digital marketing, SEO, PPC, CRM, etc.)
  • Ensure our websites are optimised and localised for the Canadian market
  • Develop and implement the marketing strategy for Canada, including clear plans for all available marketing and communication channels like affiliation, ambassadors, events, social media etc.
  • Contribute to localised campaign ideas, marketing briefs and campaign review deliverables
  • Work closely with the content team to develop the creative concept allowing for long term brand building and communication within the market
  • Work together with the Business Development team to identify ways to grow in the market including agents, affiliates, resellers, payment solutions etc
  • Plan, buy, negotiate all media, either through direct relationships or through a media agency
  • Follow-up and analyse all the marketing activities with the Data Analysis Team to make sure it is all in line with budgets and targets
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge on the market including keeping tabs on the competition and the regulatory situation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Marketing or Business Development
  • Online Poker industry acumen or experience with deep knowledge of the Canadian poker landscape
  • Understanding of Performance and Channel Marketing
  • Advanced in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Slack or overall proficiency with software
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple objectives, stakeholders, and tasks at a time
  • Immaculate attention to detail
  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Eager to learn, achieve, grow, and succeed
  • A passion for online gaming, including poker and sports betting (or at the very least be interested to learn about them) and knowledge of the online gaming industry

Compensation:

  • Bonus up to 75% of annual salary
