As a BigQuery Data Integration Product Manager at Google, you'll define and drive product strategy and roadmap for data integration features within the Google Cloud ecosystem. Responsibilities include understanding customer needs, conducting market research, collaborating with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams. You'll translate customer needs into prioritized feature roadmaps, define product specifications, and collaborate on user experience and technical architecture. Success will be measured by tracking key metrics and gathering customer feedback to improve products. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and a deep understanding of the data integration landscape. The goal is to deliver innovative solutions that impact how businesses integrate and utilize data in the cloud.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • Experience in product management, with a focus on data integration, data warehousing, or big data technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in product management, with a focus on data integration, data warehousing, or big data technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services.
  • Experience with data integration tools and technologies (e.g., ETL/ELT, Apache Spark, Apache Beam, or similar).
  • Knowledge of data integration concepts, architectures, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

You will be responsible for the success and growth of data integration features along with other products in the data integration space within the Google Cloud ecosystem. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on how businesses integrate and utilize their data in the cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the data integration landscape and identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate in the data integration space.
  • Gather insights into customer needs, pain points, and competitive offerings to inform product development.
  • Translate customer needs and market trends into a prioritized roadmap of features and enhancements.
  • Work with engineering and design teams to define product specifications, user experience, and technical architecture.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to launch new features and drive adoption of Data Fusion, and track key metrics and gather customer feedback to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
