About the Role

At Parry Labs, we are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Pursuit and Capture Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be crucial in bridging the gap between complex technical concepts and clear, compelling documentation. Your responsibilities will span collaborating with various stakeholders, translating intricate technical details into user-friendly materials, and contributing to the success of our proposals and documentation efforts.

Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and understand the technical aspects of the project.
Work with solution architects to derive succinct narratives related to technical concepts and products
Employ capture process to include Win Strategy and Win Theme concepts to white papers, RFIs, and RFPs.
Create and update technical content, including proposals, operator manuals, maintenance manuals, training materials, and other relevant documentation.
Organize content to be persuasive, write the planned proposal section, and examine the section draft for effectiveness
Collaborate and coordinate with other team members writing different sections of a proposal
Ensure compliance with established documentation standards, style guides, and branding guidelines.
Conduct thorough reviews and revisions of technical content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as engineers, trainers, and project managers, to gather inputs and deliver high-quality documentation within defined timelines. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to defense edge computing and aviation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, with a focus on pursuit and capture.
Strong understanding of avionics, embedded computing hardware and/or software, or similar systems, their functionalities, and integration with technical documentation.
Ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise documentation suitable for various target audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Plan content using a storyboard to be compliant and implement approved proposal strategies
Experience with graphic design software and visualization tools.
Shipley and Associates training related to technical writing or proposal management
Familiarity with military or aerospace industry standards and documentation requirements (e.g., S1000D) is highly desirable.
