Next Games, a Netflix Game Studio, is a Helsinki-based studio dedicated to crafting fans-first interactive experiences that combine the stories from popular movies and shows with engaging game mechanics. As a Puzzle Editor, you will pioneer the puzzle function for the studio. You have a passion for not just mobile games but all kinds of puzzle games, such as crosswords, sudoku, tangram, etc. With a curious mindset, you are eager to leverage your knowledge of themes such as American Culture, Pop Culture, Politics, Current Trends, Trivia, memes, and more to create themes and puzzles. We expect you to research these themes and partner with stakeholders and partners (internal & external) to gather feedback and ideas to push puzzle excellence and quality, ensuring a diverse range of puzzles and game rosters.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish workflows for curating and editing puzzles

• Learn each puzzle's tools and suggestions for improvements and create puzzle content when needed

• Collaborate with production to define the means to achieve the global and local content strategy

• Coordinate and collaborate with other editors (internal & external)  and live ops specialists to maintain consistency in puzzle quality and style on the platform

• Collaborate with the development team to enhance the tools and systems used for puzzle curation, editing, and publication, streamlining workflows and increasing efficiency

• Engage with stakeholders and partners to gather feedback and ideas to push the puzzle excellence and diversity of puzzle games and content, as well as the diversity of puzzles and game roster

Skills and experience:

• Ability to analyse and categorise puzzle experiences into relevant components

• A deep understanding of the player experience that connects the different puzzle moments, player motivation, behavior, and emotions

• Ability to coordinate multiple parties and workstreams toward a reliable content delivery

• Experience using digital tools to set and support production workflows

• High level of attention to detail to ensure the quality of puzzle content

• Strong organisational skills to manage the timely publication of puzzles

• Excellent copywriting skills in English
