Location: Remote
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Conduct manual testing on web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet specified requirements.
- Document test results and report defects in a clear and concise manner.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in requirements review meetings and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect the existing functionality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of test strategies, methodologies, and standards.
- Ensure that all testing activities are carried out in a timely and effective manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Experience with SQL and data querying.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
