Job Description

The Release Manager will lead and coordinate the submission and release of multiple video game projects across various platforms. This individual will be the main point of contact between Annapurna Interactive, development partners, and platform holders. Responsibilities include managing the end-to-end release lifecycle, creating and maintaining schedules, collaborating with cross-functional teams, overseeing certification submissions, coordinating storefront product pages, monitoring platform requirements, auditing submissions, and maintaining documentation. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of the game development process.

We are seeking a Release Manager to lead and coordinate the submission and release of multiple video game projects across various platforms. This individual will serve as the central liaison between Annapurna Interactive, development partners, and first-party platform holders. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of submission workflows across all platforms, outstanding communication skills, and a passion for process improvement and cross-team coordination.

Responsibilities
Own and manage the end-to-end release lifecycle for a portfolio of titles, including initial submissions, patches, store assets, and metadata.

Serve as the primary point of contact for first-party submission and release matters.

Create and maintain detailed release and submission schedules, communicating milestones and status to internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, QA, localization and Marketing to ensure alignment across timelines and deliverables

Oversee and manage certification submissions across console, PC, and mobile platforms.

Coordinate the creation of storefront product pages by gathering materials and ingesting the data according to platform requirements.

Monitor platform requirement changes, holiday schedules, and documentation updates to proactively adjust plans and mitigate risks.

Audit submission work for accuracy and compliance with platform requirements.

Maintain up-to-date documentation and internal process guides.

Contribute to ongoing improvements to the release management framework with a focus on scalability and developer-friendliness.

Qualifications
Ideally, 5+ years of direct experience in game release management and first-party submissions.

Strong familiarity with submission requirements and processes across platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam, and mobile stores.

Excellent project organization skills with a track record of meeting deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing competing priorities.

Experience working with QA, porting, localization and development teams; technical background a plus.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000
