Job Description

The Scaled Technical Services (STS) team within gTech Ads Solutions works with gTech Regional and Enablement teams on globally applicable projects and initiatives. As a Scaled Solutions Engineer, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement scaled Ads solutions globally. Responsibilities include collecting requirements, designing solutions, building best practices, adapting existing solutions for global scalability, and managing the solution lifecycle from discovery to launch, including maintenance, feature requests, and deprecation. This role requires strong engineering skills, experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP), and proficiency in programming languages (Java, C/C++, Python). You will work with internal and external partners, leveraging data-driven approaches and excellent communication skills.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
6+ years web technologies experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP)
6+ years coding experience (Java, C/C++, Python)
Technical troubleshooting and partner/customer management experience
Solution design, development and lifecycle management

Good to have:

Master's degree
Ad tech experience (Ad server, DSPs, DMPs, web analytics)
Data-driven proposal formulation
Project management, people management, leadership skills
Excellent communication skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Experience working with Ad tech products, Ad server,
Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), Data Management Platforms (DMPs), and web analytics.
Ability to formulate data-driven proposals.
Excellent project management, people management, leadership and investigative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Collect requirements, provide guidance, and best practices to apply to Ad products and technologies.
Be responsible for scoping, designing, and building a series of solutions and best practices at a global level to be reused by customers, promoters, partners.
Leverage engineering skills to adapt existing bespoke Ads solutions created by regional teams into globally scaled solutions that can support the customers.
Own solution life cycle from discovery to launch, managing maintenance bugs and feature requests as well as deprecation for a portfolio of scaled solutions.
