Seize a distinctive opportunity at Lighthouse Games as our Scan Processing Artist, playing a pivotal role in crafting essential reference material crucial for our production processes. We're seeking an individual with a discerning eye for detail and a methodical approach to processing vehicle reference images, CAD, and LiDAR data. Your ability to create clear documentation and present to both internal and external stakeholders showcases your effective communication skills. Your passion for vehicles, coupled with expertise in photography and 3D graphics, will be instrumental in providing crucial data for our art teams, shaping the visual identity of our game's most significant assets—its vehicles!

Requirements

  • Develop various data types to department requirements and standards including:
    • Converting LiDAR and native CAD data into neutral reference formats
    • Conducting photoshoots
    • Managing paint data
  • Support the capture and assembly of reference for vehicle build packs
  • Conduct audits to ensure comprehensive reference coverage
  • Identify and document opportunities to increase productivity

Essential Requirements

  • Active interest in Automotive, including Motorsport
  • A basic understanding of vehicle mechanics
  • Knowledge of asset creation in games
  • Willingness to engage in national and international travel, supporting our scanning team
  • Process CAD Data as applicable

Desirable

  • Proficient in software such as:
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Autodesk Maya
    • Maxon ZBrush
  • Up-to-date Passport and Driving License
