We are looking for a talented Senior 3D Game Artist to join our dynamic team at Pluto. This role is essential in conceptualising and maintaining an overall creative identity for our games.This position is Hybrid (Mumbai, India).

Are you good at?

• Conceptualising and maintaining a cohesive and compelling creative identity for our games.
• Leading and inspiring a team of artists, ensuring that the artistic direction is consistently implemented throughout all stages of game development.
• Leading the creation of 3D models, textures, animations, and other visual assets with hands-on work along with other 3D artists.
• Managing the art pipeline to ensure it aligns with Pluto’s goals and creative vision.
• Identifying team strengths and allocating appropriate artwork to maximize productivity and creativity.
• Finding solutions to artistic and technical issues that arise during the development process.
• Working with a variety of art and game software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Blender, Maya, and Unity Engine.
• 4+ years of experience in the game art industry, with a strong focus on 3D art.
• 1+ years of experience in a relevant role with a focus on leading a team of 4 or more 3D artists.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of artistic styles and projects, with an emphasis on 3D art, mobile games, VFX, lighting, texturing, and modeling.

What your average day will look like in the Pluto

• Leading the production design phase of game art development along with the senior 2D artist, ensuring all optimized assets are delivered by the team from art production to game developers while maintaining the art direction of the game.
• Leading the creation of 3D models, textures, animations, and other visual assets along with junior 3D artists.
• Conceptualizing, evangelizing, and executing game 3D art requirement documents to ensure cross-functional teams clearly understand the outcomes and visual impacts.
• Setting up and managing workflows of 3D art production, supporting artists and engineers in the 3D art pipeline to derive task outputs from individual contributors in your team.
• Optimizing environments and establishing physics barriers
• Researching and overseeing the implementation of rendering techniques
• Developing performance of frame rate and memory
• Conducting research and documenting the latest visual trends and tools to find ways to improve output quality and optimize graphics development.

Good To Have:

• Shader authoring skills (HLSL) knowledge
• A genuine passion for video games can be a driving force for an Art Lead.
• Preferably from Mumbai city.
