Must have:
  • Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • Expertise in eliciting and documenting requirements
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
  • Experience with process mapping methodologies
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively

Anthology is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Business Analyst – HR to drive impactful change through data analysis, process optimization, and innovative solutions. As a vital member of the HR team, you will apply your core business analysis expertise to understand complex technical challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver data-driven recommendations that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all HR functions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with HR leaders and stakeholders to dissect business problems, define clear requirements, and translate them into actionable insights and solutions. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with HR business partners to thoroughly understand their strategic objectives, operational challenges, and data needs across various HR domains (e.g., talent acquisition, compensation, learning & development, HR operations)
  • Conducting comprehensive analysis of business processes and data to identify key trends, root causes of inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization and automation
  • Eliciting, documenting, and clearly communicating business requirements using a variety of business analysis techniques, including process modeling, use cases, user stories, and data flow diagrams
  • Developing robust business cases, including cost-benefit analyses and potential ROI, to support proposed solutions and initiatives
  • Designing and developing insightful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using various tools to communicate key metrics, trends, and actionable insights to diverse stakeholders
  • Translating business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams (including IT and potentially HRIS) to implement solutions effectively
  • Evaluating the performance and impact of implemented solutions through data analysis and feedback, recommending further enhancements as needed
  • Facilitating workshops and meetings with company stakeholders to gather requirements, brainstorm solutions, and ensure alignment
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of HR analytics strategies and frameworks
  • Staying informed about best practices in business analysis and technology to continuously improve methodologies and identify new opportunities for innovation

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering data-driven insights and process improvements
  • Proven expertise in eliciting, documenting, and managing business requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets, identify patterns, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with process mapping and business process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Excellent collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Office 365

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Experience working within an HR department or on HR-related projects
  • A strong understanding of and experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL, R) for data manipulation, automation, and advanced analytics
