Job Description

The Senior Crowd Artist will be responsible for generating all crowd imagery for the animated feature, ensuring the crowd animation meets quality standards and artistic direction, and looks believable and consistent with the animation style. They must maximize the project's visual spectacularity and be able to work autonomously in a remote environment, managing multiple tasks and maintaining initiative. The role requires excellent communication skills, teamwork, the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, and adhere to production schedules. The candidate will also need to align with the project's style and the Director's vision.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of crowd experience in animation.
  • Knowledge of Golaem.
  • Strong visual awareness and artistic ability.
  • Ability to take feedback constructively.
Good to have:
  • Programming knowledge is a plus.
  • Anticipation and quick reaction for problem solving.
  • Demonstrate great autonomy and proactivity in your work.
  • Great attention to detail.

We are looking for a talented Senior Crowd Artist with enthusiasm to join our great team on the exciting new project, Animated Feature TAD 4!!
You will be responsible for generating of all crowd imagery for the animated feature.

First of all, you're probably interested in knowing that...we offer 100% remote work!



WE NEED YOU TO BE ABLE TO DO:

  • Generate the motion of crowds using simulation techniques to populate large numbers of characters that deliver compelling performances.
  • Make sure that crowd animation follows the quality standards and artistic direction.
  • Make sure that crowd animation looks believable and consistent with the style of the animation.
  • Maximize the project's visual spectacularity.
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently in a fully remote environment, with that comes the supreme individual responsibility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and maintain your own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Great team player, create a collaborative and welcoming environment.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload and within budgets, adhere to the production schedule and deliver completed assignments on time.
  • Align with the style, sensibility of the project and the Director vision.

WE WILL MAKE THE PERFECT MATCH IF YOU HAVE:
  • 5+ years of crowd experience from either animation TV series or feature animation movie.
  • Knowledge of Golaem.
  • Programming knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong visual awareness and artistic ability, having a good eye for composition, color, light and shadow.
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and implement it effectively, to reach the quality desired.
  • Anticipation and quick reaction for problem solving.
  • Demonstrate great autonomy and proactivity in your work.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and collaborative skills.
