Behaviour Interactive is looking for a talented and innovative Senior Data Developer to enhance and scale our data pipelines, supporting our ever-growing data needs and expanding team of data users.

As a key member an expert, collaborative team, you'll work closely with game projects, bringing your experience and passion for data-driven solutions to the forefront.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment, who isn’t afraid to challenge established processes, and who can efficiently manage workload priorities between live operations and new development.

In this role you will:

Using advanced SQL and Data Build Tools (DBT) on Snowflake, develop and improve the current data models to support the analysts, scientists, and user researchers for the game Dead By Daylight;
Using Python and Airflow, develop and improve the current toolsets that support the main game data pipeline and gather secondary data;
In collaboration with team members from other teams (data analyst, programmers), participate in the design of all new data solutions;
Keep up to date and use best practices in testing, security, cost monitoring, performance monitoring and effective use of resources;
Oversee various data project encompassing different area of expertise (data development, data analyses, data science...);
Promote best practices and ensure consistency across games;
Help junior team members thrive and grow.

What we're looking for:

Training in data development, business intelligence, software development or related fields;

At least 8 years of experience in :

Data modeling involving complex SQL transformation on large data set (including an experience with cloud database, Snowflake preferred);
Developing Python and SQL-based ETL scripts suitable for production environment and utilizing a pipeline scheduler;
Experience in implementing data governance best practices;
Professional experience working with a team on an agile environment;
Professional experience in project management;
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Asset Qualifications:

Experience with DBT;
Experience with Airflow;
Bonus point: experience with cloud services (AWS or others);
Bonus point: experience with containerization tools (Kubernetes, docker).
