About The Role 🤔:
The Senior Data Scientist (Studio) will be pivotal in driving success through data-driven decision-making, directly impacting our growth. You will work closely with teams across Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing, gaining valuable insights and ensuring the studio achieves significant success.
The role offers an exciting challenge, requiring you to analyse gameplay, user interactions and evaluate experiments, perfect for those who love solving complex problems. You will also have the opportunity to innovate with cutting-edge data analysis techniques in a vibrant, game-focused environment - ideal for anyone passionate about gaming and the future of web3.
You’ll Be Empowered To 🎮:
- Drive data-driven decision-making by providing valuable insights and analysis to guide studio decisions
- Conduct quantitative research on user interactions to identify patterns and trends that inform strategic decisions and enhance game development
- Evaluate game features, measure their effectiveness, and recommend optimisations to improve user experience, acquisition, and business outcomes
- Develop and implement predictive models to forecast user behaviour, inform product development, and support targeted growth initiatives
- Create visualisations and generate reports that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making across the organisation
- Collaborate closely with Studio Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams to ensure data analysis and recommendations align with overall business strategy and objectives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science and related technologies to maintain the company’s competitive edge and innovative approach to data-driven decision-making
We'd Love You To Bring 🤝:
- A genuine passion for games, empathy for gamers, and gaming experience
- Advanced SQL expertise for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting
- Experience applying probability theory and statistical methods to solve business problems
- A proven track record in data science or a closely related field, with at least 3 years of experience working on data-driven projects
- Proficiency in data analysis, modelling, and visualisation, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and create clear and compelling visualisations to communicate insights effectively
- Strong stakeholder management skills, enabling effective communication and relationship management across various stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration on data-driven projects and initiatives
- Experience in designing and implementing scientific experiments to evaluate the impact of different features, designs, or strategies on user behaviour and business outcomes

This role will be part of the Immutable group data function. This team is responsible for sharing knowledge, monitoring performance and progress of products, identifying valuable insights, facilitating collaboration across global teams, promoting best practices, and democratising data by empowering people to use it.
