Collaborate with art directors and core production teams to define and execute project art directions. Develop world-building visuals and establish design languages. Provide concept analysis and design for level layouts and game props. Conduct long-term exploration of the game IP's art style and aesthetic. Rapidly iterate concepts based on art director feedback; collaborate effectively with 3D artists. Strong communication skills and understanding of world and map creation are essential. Requires a strong foundation in traditional art, mastery of composition, color theory, perspective, lighting, environments, architecture, and graphic design. Experience working in AAA environment art teams is preferred. Familiarity with 3D software and engines is a plus.
