As a Senior Firmware Engineer, Power Optimization, you will be working on developing and supporting software solutions and tools for Pixel power management and power optimization. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and support for innovative power control in Linux and firmware for Pixel. You will also analyze system architecture to optimize power consumption across hardware and software components. This role includes managing power, latency, and system stability, troubleshooting and resolving power-related issues, and creating and maintaining test suites to detect power regression and system stability during state transitions.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 7 years of experience with software development in C/C++
  • Experience in power management of embedded mobile devices
Good to have:
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • 5 years of experience working with embedded software development
  • Experience developing accessible technologies and mobile devices

Minimum qualifications:
