Job Description

Senior Full-Stack Developer needed for a project with a leading Financial Market institution. The role involves strengthening front-tier risk calculation and management systems, integrating various sub-systems to meet high performance and robustness standards. The technology stack includes Kafka, Java, Kubernetes, Angular, and TypeScript. Responsibilities include hands-on development, understanding business requirements, creating technical backlog stories, collaborating in a team with diverse skills, contributing to sprint backlogs, and writing/grooming stories. The ideal candidate will have strong Java programming skills, experience with Angular and TypeScript, and a solid understanding of testing methodologies. Agile development experience is essential.

Must have:

6+ years Java experience
Angular & TypeScript proficiency
Testing methodologies & unit testing
Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD experience
SQL Server knowledge
Hazelcast experience
JUnit/Mockito for testing

Good to have:

RDBMS (Oracle/SQL Server)
Linux tooling & scripting
Ansible
API Security patterns

Technology stack we are targeting at is Kafka, Java, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

100% hands-on role.

Able to understand business requirements & make technical backlog stories for self & others.

Work in team, where everyone has different technical skills. Hence open to listening ideas & explain your ideas.

Understand business need and contribute to sprint backlog, stories writing/grooming.

Agile based development cycle

Skills

Must have

6+ years of experience

Proficient in Java programming

Experience using Angular and TypeScript

Good knowledge of testing methodologies. Can write unit tests for unfamiliar code, analyze code coverage, and analyze failing test cases.

Knowledge of tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD

Experience in SQL Server

Hazelcast

Unit tests & Integration tests, using JUnit/Mockito

Nice to have

Knowledge of RDBMS architectures and database tooling, especially for Oracle or SQL Server

Basic Linux tooling and administration: package installation and tooling, shell scripting, managing file systems

Knowledge of Ansible

Basic understanding & use of API Security patterns
