Senior Gameplay Engineer - Remote Worldwide

Our client is in search of a Senior Gameplay Engineer with a passion for game development and a track record of excellence in the field.

The chosen candidate will become part of a compact, fully remote team, contributing their skills to an exciting Multiplayer, Action RPG title. In this role, the Senior Gameplay Engineer will be deeply involved in collaborating with Designers, Artists, and fellow Engineers to conceive and implement gameplay systems throughout the game.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of five years' experience in game development.
• A history of shipping at least one high-quality AAA game for PC or Console.
• A robust programming background with strong knowledge of C++.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with gameplay systems, including AI, Animation, Combat, and Missions.
• Proven ability in profiling and optimizing game performance.
• An ability to excel in a collaborative environment involving multiple stakeholders.
• A genuine passion for games.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in MMO or Action RPG game development.
• Knowledge of procedural world and dungeon generation algorithms.
• Experience working in a distributed team across various time zones.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine 4.
