Responsibilities:
Active involvement in execution of M&A deals
Providing Buy and Sell side M&A services to major corporate, SMEs and private equity funds
Executing tasks encompassing building financial models, valuation, drafting information memorandums, financial analysis and reviewing due diligence reports
Creating long term relationships at a senior client level
Identifying and leading business development opportunities
Achieving expertise in an industry specialization
Quickly developing an understanding of the target business and its drivers
Analysis of historical trading, quality of earnings, cash flow, working capital, net debt, capital expenditure, forecasts and underlying assumptions
Analysis of the adequacy of financing structure including review of agreements and consideration of limits, terms and covenants
Involvement in negotiation
Verbally presenting findings and observations to senior management as the transaction progresses
Reporting of potential key issues for our clients including identification of risk or price factors impacting investment decisions
Evaluation of potential synergies and post-merger integration consideration
Requirements:
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or business (CFA and/or CPA is a plus)
Mergers & Acquisitions experience and experience in financial advisory firms or investment/corporate banks at the minimum of 6-8 years
Exceptional analytical, problem solving and presentation/report writing skills, combined with a good understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers
Self-motivation and the ability to operate within a team environment
High proficiency in both verbal and written English is essential
Experience with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, project profitability and team leadership
Business development experience
Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
