Responsibilities:

  • Active involvement in execution of M&A deals

  • Providing Buy and Sell side M&A services to major corporate, SMEs and private equity funds

  • Executing tasks encompassing building financial models, valuation, drafting information memorandums, financial analysis and reviewing due diligence reports

  • Creating long term relationships at a senior client level

  • Identifying and leading business development opportunities

  • Achieving expertise in an industry specialization

  • Quickly developing an understanding of the target business and its drivers

  • Analysis of historical trading, quality of earnings, cash flow, working capital, net debt, capital expenditure, forecasts and underlying assumptions

  • Analysis of the adequacy of financing structure including review of agreements and consideration of limits, terms and covenants

  • Involvement in negotiation

  • Verbally presenting findings and observations to senior management as the transaction progresses

  • Reporting of potential key issues for our clients including identification of risk or price factors impacting investment decisions

  • Evaluation of potential synergies and post-merger integration consideration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or business (CFA and/or CPA is a plus)

  • Mergers & Acquisitions experience and experience in financial advisory firms or investment/corporate banks at the minimum of 6-8 years 

  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving and presentation/report writing skills, combined with a good understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers

  • Self-motivation and the ability to operate within a team environment 

  • High proficiency in both verbal and written English is essential

  • Experience with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, project profitability and team leadership

  • Business development experience

  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
