The Challenge

This entry level business affairs role is a real opportunity for the successful candidate to start their career in the mobile games industry working with colleagues across EMEA and the US. The selected candidate will report into Counsel on the Business Affairs team and work from our offices in London.

What You’ll Take On

  • Transaction Logs and Reporting – Reviewing and contributing to all regular legal transaction logs and reports, which may include contract status, deal summaries, deal analysis and the execution process. This responsibility requires a strong understanding of commercial contracts and their terms.
  • Legal Support – Provide support to business affairs attorneys who handle matters related to the development, production, marketing, distribution and licensing of video-games as well as other corporate matters. Support may include supervised proofreading and initial drafting of contracts and communication with various internal business partners.
  • Legal Research and Knowledge Management – Assisting members of the Legal team in: (i) conducting legal research required on various areas of the law applicable to Take-Two’s mobile business; (ii) keeping track of any changes to the same and updating relevant team members; and (iii) updating and maintaining internal precedents and templates.

What You Bring

  • Familiarity with contract management systems.
  • Desire to work in the legal department at an international company and assist with matters applicable to the development, promotion, and monetisation of mobile games.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills coupled with the ability to identify, prioritise, and resolve issues quickly and optimally.
  • Common sense, courtesy, good humour, and a commitment to partnership.
  • Understanding of key contractual principles under English law, such as warranties, representations, indemnities, and remoteness of damages.
  • Interest in the mobile games industry.
  • Previous experience as a paralegal, or similar role in a legal department at an international company, and/or completed degree or diploma in law required.
