SIE’s People Team   is embarking on a journey to transform employee experience. We have an amazing opportunity for a  Senior Talent Management Product Owner to join the People Technology and Services team. This Product Owner will play a critical role in leading system enhancement projects and assist in supporting Talent Systems (Recruiting, Performance and Learning) projects globally. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system, with a focus on talent management, performance, and reporting. This role partners closely with HR, IT, and various business units to support Workday’s functionalities and improve processes. The Senior HRIS Analyst will play a key role in managing Workday enhancements, including Workday Extend, product management, and project management, while ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and system integrity through thorough quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Workday HCM System Administration:

  • Manage and maintain the configuration of Workday HCM, including modules related to core HR, talent management, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to optimize Workday modules and ensure they align with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure proper security roles and permissions are maintained in Workday.

Talent Management and Performance:

  • Support and configure the talent and performance management processes in Workday, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Assist in developing strategies for talent acquisition, development, retention, and succession planning within Workday.

Workday Reporting:

  • Design and build complex custom reports and dashboards in Workday to meet business needs.
  • Leverage advanced Workday reporting features, including calculated fields and composite reports, to ensure accurate data delivery for HR and business analytics.
  • Provide insights and data-driven recommendations to business leaders.

Workday Extend and Product Management:

  • Lead initiatives using Workday Extend to develop custom solutions that enhance Workday’s native functionality.
  • Serve as the product manager for Workday applications, ensuring that product roadmaps align with strategic goals.
  • Work closely with business units to prioritize system enhancements and develop implementation plans.

Project Management and Implementation:

  • Lead Workday-related projects, including new module implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, using best-in-class project management methodologies.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation, while ensuring stakeholder alignment and delivery on project objectives.
  • Ensure successful completion of all project phases, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

Business Analysis and Process Improvement:

  • Conduct business needs assessments, gap analysis, and data analysis to provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Translate business requirements into Workday functional specifications and configurations that optimize HR and organizational processes.
  • Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and business teams to ensure system solutions align with business objectives.

Quality Assurance and System Integrity:

  • Develop and execute test plans and scripts to ensure system accuracy and data integrity during updates, patches, or new implementations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system functionality, security, and data integration with external systems.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to fully leverage the Workday platform.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and other documentation to facilitate self-service and efficient use of Workday tools.
  • Offer ongoing support for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system optimizations.

 

What we are looking for:

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including talent management and performance management modules.
  • Experience with Workday Extend, Workday Reporting, and advanced analytics in Workday.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management in HRIS or HR technology implementations.
  • Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Workday product management and roadmaps.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in Workday HCM configuration, including security, reporting, business processes, and integrations.
  • Proficiency in Workday Extend, Workday reporting tools (including calculated fields and composite reports).
  • Knowledge of best practices in HRIS, talent management, and performance management.
  • Experience in QA testing methodologies, test plan development, and defect resolution within HR technology.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Excellent Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, data integrity, change control process and change management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in integrating Workday with third-party systems.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-location organization.
