Overview
InMobi is looking for an HR Generalist to support the North America People team who will be involved in a wide array of talent management practices, driving operational excellence and building an empowering employee experience. In partnership with the North America Business Partner and Operations team, you will support the full spectrum of the People function including talent management, employee engagement, operational excellence, performance management, learning and development, rewards and recognition, compensation and benefits, and partnerships with our COE teams.
*This role is in-person and onsite in our San Mateo, CA office, and is not open to remote locations.
The impact you’ll make
- Support the ideation and implementation of people processes and programs, including onboarding, performance management, talent management, employee programs, engagement surveys, and exit management.
- Provide operational support to the HR business partner team on data management (i.e. employee data maintenance and conducting periodic audits).
- Be the first point of contact for employees on People programs and initiatives.
- Cultivate relationships with employees and managers to gain valuable feedback on employee experience, and engagement leading to critical insights for action.
- Support plans to improve efficiency on employee lifecycle processes and partner with cross-functional teams for implementation.
- Provide monthly reporting to track key people metrics and derive actionable insights for opportunities or risks. This includes analysis of demographics, pulse surveys, hiring, and attrition.
- Contribute towards creating employee experiences that strengthen one’s sense of belonging, inclusion, and motivation.
The experience we need
- 4+ years of HR Generalist/HR Operations experience supporting People processes and programs.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to derive key actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to uphold high levels of confidentiality and discretion.
- Comfortable navigating through ambiguity.
- Great listening skills and effective communication.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, specifically Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong team player.
- Knowledge of North American labor laws and regulations is a plus.
- Experience working in a global work environment is highly preferred.

The base salary (fixed) pay range for this role would range from $99,950 to $135,650 USD (min to max of base salary pay). This salary range is applicable to our offices located in California and New York*. In addition, an InMobian may also receive variable pay in the form of an annual variable bonus or quarterly variable bonus/sales incentive, as deemed per policy in addition to fixed compensation.
*Our ranges may vary based on the final location and region of the role in accordance with the geographical differentiation in pay scales in the country.
In addition to cash compensation, based on the position, an InMobian can receive equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). We believe that our employees/personnel should have the ability to own a part of the entity they are a part of. Therefore, the entity employing you may elect to provide such stocks to you. Ownership of stock aids us to treat our employer company as our own and base our decisions on such a company’s best interest at heart.
