The Senior Manager Sales – SMB will be responsible for managing the day-to-day focuses of all assigned individuals, as well as continuing to help team members creating new profit streams within customers. The role involves providing weekly reports to track progress and ensure the fulfillment of annual targets. Responsibilities include having a thorough knowledge of the SMB sales market, managing team issues, hunting new business, expanding business, growing the pipeline, supporting a learning culture, and resolving customer issues. They must also celebrate wins and maintain accountability.

Position Overview:

 

This individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day focuses of all assigned individuals, as well as continuing to help team members creating new profit streams within customers. They will also be required to provide weekly reports to track progress against the below responsibilities & measurables.

Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities:
 

  • Have a thorough knowledge of how the SMB sales market operates in the US.
  • Annual Targets fulfilment.
  • Year over Year growth for assigned accounts within team.
  • Managing day-to-day issues related to team members.
  • Hunting New Business (prospecting).
  • Expanding Business with Collaboration with UK, India & Global Teams.
  • Growing pipeline driven from monthly forecasting.
  • Supporting and facilitating a learning culture through available trainings ensuring participation and attendance.
  • Thorough engagement with team members to ensure your part as a knowledge hub for ALL team members.
  • Have the capability to resolve and drive customer opportunities, requests and issues within the organization.
  • Celebrating wins and maintaining a culture of accountability for underperforming team members.
  • Have the capability to utilize the organization’s provided tools to increase customer base by new customer acquisition.

 

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Service Sales Issues to be resolved by Division leader. 
  • Responsible for ensuring that AEs are given correct support & training (supported by leadership) 
  • Customer Interaction and structured email response templates 
  • Initial OEM / Customer Discussion & Negotiation 
  • Holiday / Annual Leave Cover 
  • Back-end Process 
  • System Behaviour 
  • ERP/CRM hygiene 
  • Zones High-Level Presentation  
  • Team Pipeline Reporting.
  • A keen eye on growth opportunities and key highlights month over month.
  • Holding weekly meetings with Division Leader to highlight any team issues.  

What are you expected to bring to the team:

  • 8-10 years of experience in conventional B2B sales
  • Leading sales managers and supervising their teams accordingly
  • Revenue & GP Growth across PK Team
  • Pipeline Growth
  • Reporting Capability 
  • QBS Based Selling Skillset
  • Importance of Relevance in engagement for New Businesses.
  • Exploring new avenues and ideas for expansion of customer base through acquisitions with recurring payment business.
  • Lead the team to achieve 100%+ assigned annual targets.
