Job Description

Senior QA Engineer responsible for functional testing of iOS, Android, and web applications. Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures across various development methodologies. Experience with Postman, Salesforce, Magento, VTEX, Dynamics 365, and cloud-based testing services (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack) is crucial. A deep understanding of the SDLC, various test cycles (unit, regression, functional, system, stress & scale, smoke & sanity), mobile/web application architecture, and deployment is required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to identify and explain not just 'what' went wrong, but also 'why'. Experience with load testing and backend services (APIs, databases, distributed services) is needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills are vital for documenting findings and collaborating effectively within an Agile environment. This role involves participation in release deployments to production.

Must have:

4-6+ years QA experience
Functional testing (iOS, Android, Web)
Test case/script development & execution
Postman, Salesforce, Magento, VTEX, Dynamics 365 experience
Cloud-based testing (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack)
Agile environment experience
API, Database, and distributed services testing
Excellent communication & problem-solving skills

Good to have:

Load testing experience

4 - 6+ years of hands-on software quality engineering experience with a QA mindset
Experience in functional testing of iOS, Android & web applications
Demonstrated experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures to support various development methodologies.
Experience in Postman., Salesforce, Magento, Vtex, Dynamics 365
Experience in cloud-based testing and integration services like Saucelabs, Browserstack, etc.
Familiarity with the entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Stress & Scale, Smoke & Sanity)
Understanding of mobile & web application architecture and deployment
Understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies
Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found.
Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in Load testing
Experience testing backend services such as APIs, Databases, and distributed services (non-monolithic).
Enjoys breaking and solving problems - not just able to find out the 'what', but also the 'why'.
Basic order placement Journey as a user

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

Proficiency in English with Strong communication skills with a demonstrable ability to interact and influence at all levels within the organization
Solid understanding of quality assurance and testing processes within an Agile environment
Deep knowledge of testing concepts, processes, and activities
Excellent problem-solving, planning, analytical, and documentation skills
Strong team player and must be able to participate in Release deployments to production
Passion for and ability to deliver high-quality features and end-to-end scenarios
Reporting and tracking bugs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/software engineering or a related field and or relevant direct job experience.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 4- 6+ years of experience in QA
