PerBlue is looking for a
Senior Producer with superpowers to join our team of experienced game creators. We’re a growing independent studio whose free-to-play midcore mobile games have been played by millions of people around the world, including the award-winning Disney Heroes: Battle Mode.
Our team brings experience from major studios across the videogame industry. Headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, we also work remotely around the United States and Canada for an unmatched quality of life and work.
You’ll work side-by-side with our cross-functional team to create amazing experiences for our players around the world! In this central position, you’ll be the cool-as-ice center of our cross-functional mobile game team. As a veteran producer, you’ll be the tactical leader of our Agile process while keeping the team productive and positive.
Position Summary
As our Senior Producer, you’ll focus on managing the daily operations and development of one of our mobile game teams. You’ll work directly with and report to the Chief Product Officer, running the early development of a mobile hybrid casual title with a publishing partner. While the CPO focuses on overall product strategy, you’ll focus on tactical project management, including sprint management, filing and tracking dev tasks, organizing standups, running playtests, and more. The CPO and Producer will work closely together to ship a great game on time and on budget. The Producer is also the project’s communication hub, a master listener, a polished and unifying communicator, and the guardian of our information culture at PerBlue.
Position Expectations
You’ll have a strong understanding of Agile development theory and practice, including Jira admin experience. You’re self-motivated, focused on results, and have the ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and staying organized and on task.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day development process for a free-to-play RPG strategy game
- Work with a cross-functional team to deliver sprints on time, on budget, and at a high quality bar
- Quickly identify when development issues arise, diagnose their cause, and implement solutions to keep the product and team on track
- Make valuable individual contributions to the product (via design, QA, UX, analysis, etc.)
- Recommend and implement new processes where efficiencies are needed to improve timely or on-budget delivery
- Serve as Jira admin for your game project
- Ensure all necessary project documentation is complete and up-to-date
- Establish and maintain a productive and communicative working environment
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years in a game producer role for commercially successful titles in a studio environment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal)
- Deep knowledge of, and experience with, Agile methodology
- Expertise in Jira admin roles
- Stable track record demonstrating progressive responsibility and advancement
- Positive attitude, calm and deliberate within a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience And Qualifications
- Free-to-play mobile game production with commercially successful titles
- Project management across multiple product areas (design, art, development, analytics, UX, writing, QA, dev, etc.)
- Midcore game genres and mechanics (esp. RPG & strategy)
- Jira training and certification
- Coordination with external publishing partners
- Project Management training and certification

We are a remote-first company headquartered in downtown Madison, Wisconsin with team members based throughout North America.
