Senior Product Line Manager

Description

• Define a vision and compelling roadmap for Gigamon's Security business and related GigaSMART functions.
• Write complete and clear requirements for engineering.
• Help drive the release planning process from planning to release delivery.
• Be an evangelist for Gigamon's Security business, and the larger Gigamon value prop.
• Work and coordinate within a strong and large team spread across the globe, with focus points in California and India.

• Overall 15+ years of experience, where minimum 3+ years of experience in product management, building enterprise products is required.
• Prior experience in Cyber Security, with certifications such as Security+ or CISSP being strongly preferred.
• Domain expertise on TLS is a strong plus.
• Well rounded Product Management skills, from working with customers to understand pain points, translating these into well written requirements, articulating the needs both at a technical and business level.
• Prior experience driving requirements, from initial writing, to discussions with engineering, to delivery in a release.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ideally, a technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or CyberSecurity.
• Experience working cross-functionally, with Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, and Technical Marketing/Product Marketing.

• Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement. 
• Ability to manage and influence positively through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building.
