Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Senior Product Manager to lead our efforts in improving the communication & navigation systems in Candy Crush Saga. You will be at the forefront of creating a seamless, consistent, and engaging gaming experience for millions of players worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Candy Crush by tackling some of our biggest challenges around communication coherence, player engagement, and tooling.

Your role within the Kingdom

As a Senior Product Manager focused on Communication & Navigation Systems, you will work with cross-functional teams to transform our player experience. You will lead the development of new approaches to player communication and in-game navigation, focusing on reducing disruptions, enhancing relevancy, and streamlining our technical stack to support a cohesive Candy experience. This is a dynamic role involving significant stakeholder engagement and strategic alignment to build a unified, high-quality player experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and own the strategy for improving player communication systems, information surfacing, and ultimately the overall player experience.

  • Player-Centric Product Design: Collaborate with Game Designers, UX Designers, and Analysts to design player experiences that are immersive and tailored, focusing on reducing disruptions and providing meaningful content.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics to evaluate current performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose changes that will lead to increased retention, reduced churn, and improved player satisfaction.

  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with multiple teams across product areas to align on goals, ensuring cohesive ownership and governance over player experience changes.

  • Improve Operability: Establish and drive initiatives that build better tooling and operability for content surfacing, ensuring that our tech stack is streamlined, interconnected, and capable of delivering meaningful experiences at scale.

  • Player Communication Governance: Implement standardized guidelines and design principles to ensure consistent, relevant, and visually cohesive messaging throughout the player journey.

Skills to create thrills

  • Product Leadership Experience: You have a background in product management, ideally in a fast-paced consumer-focused industry. Experience and strong interest in design of UI systems and UX flows is a strong plus.

  • Analytical Mindset: Highly skilled in quantitative analysis, comfortable using big data to derive actionable insights. You can confidently make data-driven decisions that contribute to improving player experience and product quality.

  • Tech-Savvy: Strong understanding of technical infrastructure, tooling, and tech stack interoperability. You know how to work effectively with engineers to bring complex features to life.

  • Player First Approach: Passionate about understanding player needs and advocating for solutions that enhance their experience.

  • Collaborative Communicator: Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, aligning efforts across teams, managing dependencies, and building consensus in a large organization.
