The Position:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Security Engineer to join our newly formed Information Security team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and resolving issues from a variety of internal security tools to ensure the protection and integrity of our organization's data and systems. You will play a critical role in enhancing our security posture by managing Endpoint Protection (EDR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools. Your role is crucial in ensuring the security and integrity of our internal applications, devices, and data.

This role requires a proactive approach to security, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions seamlessly into our existing systems and processes. You will play a vital role in fortifying our security posture and ensuring the resilience of our organization's infrastructure.

What You’ll Do:

  • Implement and manage EDR, DLP, SIEM solutions.

  • Work with an external Security Operations Center (SOC) to monitor and analyze activities across networks, servers, endpoints, databases, and applications for indicators of compromise, and resolve identified issues.

  • Automate alert collection, prioritization, tasks, processes, periodic audits, and controls.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, automated alerts, access controls, and documentation for security tools and processes.

  • Assist with regular security audits and compliance checks.

  • Collaborate with IT, HR, Data and other teams to integrate security tools with existing systems.

  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure effective implementation and support of security tools.

  • Respond to and mitigate security alerts and incidents.

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, particularly in security operations.

  • Proven experience with EDR, DLP, and SIEM security solutions.

  • Strong understanding of operating systems, network protocols, architecture, and security vulnerabilities.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (such as Python or Bash) and working experience with infrastructure as code tools (such as Terraform).

  • Expertise in analyzing security logs and identifying incidents and suspicious activity.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP) preferred.

  • Knowledge of NIST CSF and experience with audits.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The target salary range for this position is between $160,000 and 200,000. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
