Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant who could overtake the role of a Team Leader. The ideal candidate will lead our sustainability initiatives, ensuring that our operations and strategies align with our commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic viability, leverage experience, build team expertise, and support Client projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategy:

    • Support development and implementation of sustainability strategies and initiatives.

    • Lead and mentor the sustainability team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

    • Collaborate with senior management to support CSR reporting.

  • Project Management:

    • Oversee sustainability projects/activities, coordinate, allocate work accordingly.

    • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

    • Prepare and present sustainability reports, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.

    • Support CO2 calculations, take part in methodology discussions, share ideas of calculation optimisation.

  • Research and Innovation:

    • Stay updated on the latest sustainability trends, technologies, and best practices.

  • Qualifications:
    • Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Economics, or a related field.

      • Additional CSR certifications will be an advantage.

    • Experience:

      • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sustainability or a related field. At least 1 year in a Senior position.

      • Proven track record of successfully leading sustainability projects and initiatives.

    • Skills:

      • Strong leadership and team management skills.

      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

      • Ability to think strategically and drive change.

      • Proficiency in sustainability reporting and compliance.

      • English on a high level.
