This is the opportunity for the Accessibility expert with a talent and passion for testing, to join Cornerstone OnDemand India team. As Software Accessibility QA Engineer, you will be working together with some of the most highly skilled Software Engineers in the software development business to create incredibly high quality software for our customers.
In this role you will...
- Work in a cutting edge agile software development environment as Accessibility Test Engineer ensuring the accessibility compliance of the different CSOD products.
- Conduct in-depth Section 508/WCAG compliance assessments via manual reviews and using automated test tools and assistive technologies.
- Create bug reports for the testing conducted and log the issues in bug tracking tool like JIRA.
- Review Section 508/WCAG compliance defects reported by the Customers with developers and Product Managers and discuss possible resolutions.
- Review the UX designs, discuss with UX designers and product managers about issues and possible corrections.
- Work closely with the product scrum teams to ensure the Accessibility compliance.
- Provide the feedback on how to improve the internal processes to attain the accessibility compliance, provide necessary support, guidance, training or documentations.
- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience in accessibility testing in web application & native app.
- A self-starter that is proactive, and highly motivated, ready to work as individual contributor.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in testing with screen readers like JAWS, NVDA, Voiceover, and Talk back.
- Experience with document accessibility like PDF, Word, PowerPoint.
- Must have knowledge of HTML & CSS.
- Must have knowledge about agile methodology.
- Experience with Bug Tracking and Test Management tools like Jira, Test Link desirable.
