Job Description

The Sr. Software Engineer, Digital and Transformation, Quality Analyst requires in-depth knowledge and expertise to participate in the product planning, designing test suites, defining testing strategies and execution of testing across different products. Core part of Software engineering team, responsible for end-to-end product quality.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Possesses solid understanding of the overall vision, product road maps, business needs and the solution architecture across different products. Uses this in-depth knowledge to solve complex problems.
• Defines and executes Manual Test cases during early stage of product development using Azure DevOps Test Plan and Test Suites.
• Lead the overall testing activities, including test planning, test case creation, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting, ensuring adherence to quality objectives and project timelines, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring efficient and effective testing processes.
• Coordinates with product owner and software engineering team to deliver stable enterprise software products with high quality. Collaborates with senior roles and Architects on various prototypes, or proof of concept, to test solutions.
• Estimates technical requirements and breaks down work to user stories and tasks for testing.
• Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools and frameworks to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Continuously identify areas for improvement in the testing process, methodologies, and tools, and implement enhancements to drive quality excellence.
• Document and communicate test results, defects, and status to stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues and ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Stay updated with emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices in functional testing and incorporate them into the testing processes.
