We're seeking an experienced and driven Solution Engineer to complement our team. As a Solution Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our senior team members, leveraging your experience to analyse client needs, architect technical solutions, and contribute to the sales process. Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5-6+ years of progressive experience in a technical role, with a focus on Solution Engineering or related areas. Strong passion for technology and eagerness to learn.
- Programming knowledge in Python (automation, data analysis, backend), JavaScript (web development, interactive UIs), Java (enterprise, scalable backend), SQL (database management, querying), Shell Scripting (automation, server tasks).
- Fundamental knowledge on HTML/CSS for creating and styling web pages.
- Experience with Node.js, Django, Flask, or Spring for server-side development.
- Strong familiarity with Unix/Linux, Windows, Mac systems, and Virtualization technologies.
- Extensive experience in database like Mongo, MySQL
- Demonstrated expertise in solution design and architecture, with a strong portfolio of successful projects and implementations.
- In-depth understanding of software architecture, APIs, and emerging technologies.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering complex technical proposals, project plans, and solutions tailored to client needs.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
- Extensive experience in cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity, with a deep understanding of industry best practices and standards.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with colleagues across different departments and disciplines.
- Prior experience in technical sales, solution engineering, or software development is highly advantageous.
- A history of delivering high-quality solutions and providing exceptional customer service, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Utilize extensive industry experience to engage with clients at a strategic level, understanding their long-term business objectives and challenges. Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to become a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
- Solution Architecture and Design: Leverage deep technical expertise and a proven track record to lead the design and architecture of complex, enterprise-grade solutions. Work closely with the Pre-sales team to translate client requirements into innovative and effective technical solutions that drive business value.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, functionalities, and benefits of our solutions.
- Technical Consultation and Mentorship: Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to the Customer Support Services (CSS) team, leveraging extensive knowledge and experience in script-based patching and advanced troubleshooting techniques for paid products.
- Proof of Concept (PoC): Lead the development and execution of sophisticated proof of concepts to validate proposed solutions and ensure alignment with client expectations. Demonstrate the feasibility and value of proposed solutions through hands-on experimentation and validation.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including detailed solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation plans. Establish best practices for knowledge management and documentation to facilitate efficient collaboration and knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to enhance solution engineering capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, addressing concerns promptly, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional solutions.
