The Opportunity

What you’ll be doing

• Collaborate with Unity R&D across the globe on core engine improvements and requirements related to the advancement of Windows, Mac and Linux development.
• Work on performance optimizations to enable developers to ship the best games and experiences possible for desktop platforms.
• Enable Unity Editor use for new verticals outside of game industry.
• Contribute toward the build system, editor settings, editor windowing and the low-level libraries, including graphical lighting libraries the platform code.

What we’re looking for

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science or a related field plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Requires 1 year of experience with the following: C/C++ programming; C# programming; Desktop Operating System programming using Windows, Linux, macOS, and Stadia; Build/Compiler toolchain scripting; and Object-Oriented Software Design.
• Employer will accept pre-Bachelor’s degree experience.

• 40 hrs./week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $132,000 - $142,000/yr. Standard company benefits.
