As a Staff ServiceNow Engineer at Infoblox, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing new ServiceNow applications and integrations. This involves creating workflows and scripts, personalizing existing applications, and automating business processes. You will collaborate with architects on design, utilize Agile methodologies, and lead a team to build scalable automation solutions. Key responsibilities include developing product roadmaps, building user communities, mentoring team members, collaborating with IT and business teams, and troubleshooting issues. Experience with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CMDB, and other ServiceNow modules is crucial, along with expertise in scripting, workflows, and integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
Must have:
  • 15+ years ServiceNow experience (development & architecture)
  • 6+ years in senior technical role managing teams & projects
  • Experience with large-scale ServiceNow implementations & upgrades
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CMDB)
  • Experience with REST, SOAP APIs and Integrations

We are looking for a Senior Staff ServiceNow Engineer to join our IT team located in Bangalore, reporting to the director of IT Infrastructure. In this role, you will develop and implement new ServiceNow applications and integrations from initiation to completion, tailored to the customer requirements. You will also develop workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications and automate and improve business processes. You will engage with the architect to produce high-level and /or detailed design of requirements, use Agile techniques to define and execute high-impact product releases, and lead a team that independently creates robust, scalable, and high-quality automation solutions for infrastructure defined software development.

What you’ll do: 

  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that reflects business needs, future development priorities, and company goals  
  • Lead initiatives to build an engaged user community, driving adoption of ServiceNow solutions while enhancing the overall experience for end-users
  • Act as a mentor to support and lead your team and develop and implement new ServiceNow applications and integrations from initiation to completion, tailored to customer requirements
  • Collaborate with broader IT and business teams and vendors to identify upstream, downstream, or other product-related dependencies  
  • Develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions, including forms, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and integrations
  • Build proof-of-concept solutions and demonstrate them to stakeholders  
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and issues within SLA timelines and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues  
  • Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders and create detailed "how-to" guides and user documentation for the solutions developed 
  • Manage stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment and timely feedback with clear communication channels

What you’ll bring: 

  • 15+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including hands-on development and architecture
  • At least 6 years in a senior technical role managing teams and projects
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale ServiceNow implementations and upgrades
  • Experience with integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and third-party applications and Snow integrations
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD,CMDB, IT Operations Management (ITOM), and other ServiceNow modules 
  • Solid knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, scripting, workflows, and customizations including business rules, client scripts, and UI actions  
  • Experience with integrations using REST, SOAP, or other APIs 
  • Familiarity with AI/ML model deployment tools and cloud-based data architectures  
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) are highly desirable  
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business administration or equivalent education and work experience  

What success looks like: 

After six months, you will… 

  • Build executive relationships with key leaders and program teams  
  • Understand our IT landscape and ServiceNow adoption and strive for a few quick wins  
  • Drive our cross-functional intake of new requirements and features to higher quality and timeliness  

After about a year, you will… 

  • Work closely with IT and Business teams and have successfully delivered productivity, adoption, and user experience to the larger Infoblox community  
  • Cross-pollinate ideas between and among business initiatives to allow improved solutions architecture  
  • Drive process optimization, efficiencies, and productivity using automation  
  • Influence business direction and transformation
