Responsibilities:

Design, construct, implement, and maintain highly scalable data engineering platforms
Build high-performance algorithms that help process massive amounts of data in modern data lakehouse platform
Integrate new data management technologies and data engineering tools into existing structures and pipelines
Have a constant mentality and proven way to improve data pipeline reliability, efficiency, and quality
Collaborate with data architects, service engineers, analysts, and IT team members to achieve project goals on time
Manage existing ingestion platforms and create custom data engineering components and analytics applications.

Requirements:

7+ years of prior experience as a Data Engineer
Experience with popular AWS cloud services
Proven expertise in the use of data management technologies such as Airflow and Databricks
Strong command of SQL, Python, Spark, and PySpark
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, D3.js, PowerBI)
Technical expertise in sophisticated data modeling which includes both batch streaming and segmentation techniques
Knowledge of using Kubernetes, Docker, and other Devops tools is a strong plus
