Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a Staff SystemC modelling Engineer who would be part of the team responsible for developing the C models needed for developing and integrating fast models of our future ASICs comprising 32 bit ARM or RISC-V CPUs, peripherals, glue logic etc. Developing these fast model based platforms for our ASICs involves integration with fast modelling platforms of industry leading vendors like Synopsys. Familiarity with third party modelling platforms like Virtualizer is an added plus.
Accountabilities
Responsibilities & Skills
- Be part of the team responsible for integration of fast models for CPUs, third party IPs and glue-logic models using system C & python based frameworks.
- Adhere to industry best practices for accurate and reliable system C models and integration with platforms like Virtualizer or ReNode.
- Collaborate with Firmware, boot ROM & verification teams to debug, root-cause and fix system bugs be it hardware or software or model.
Required Skills
- Graduate degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications or similar engineering discipline.
- An accomplished professional with more than 10+ years of experience in System C based C model development, integration and testing in collaboration with RTL design and verification teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in an ever changing, fast paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Experience and preference for working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills and able to collaborate with engineers, product managers and peers.
