Technical Lighting TD (DNEG Animation)

Description

• Feature animation, visual effects, or game industry production experience;
• Experience with Katana and Renderman;
• Scripting experience (Python, Lua, etc.);
• Strong technical and creative problem solving skills;
• Must have experience collaborating with a team of artists;
• Solid understanding of a VFX or Feature Animation pipeline;
• Understanding of modern physically based rendering technology and pipelines;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Exceptional communication skills in dealing with both technical and artistic groups;
• Software development experience (Python, C, C++, etc.);
• Experience lighting, shading and/or compositing;
• Experience with Nuke;
• Ability to prototype rapidly and deliver quick solutions;
• Previous work experience working in a fast paced creative technology environment.
