As a Tax Staff Accountant, you’ll have the opportunity to drive meaningful impact by optimizing tax operations and enhancing administrative efficiency within the Tax team. You'll lead complex initiatives, implement process improvements, and develop systems that streamline workflows. You’ll also collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and successful navigation of tax-related challenges.
Collaborate with Compliance, Licensing, Legal, and Accounting teams, as well as external consultants, to navigate tax-related challenges and resolve inquiries effectively.
Communicate proactively with state and federal agencies through various channels to achieve timely and accurate results.
Lead complex projects from start to finish, including the development and maintenance of a comprehensive system for tracking and managing tax-related correspondence.
Oversee the management of annual business licenses and compliance filings, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Maintain meticulous records and documentation, ensuring data accuracy and easy access for all relevant stakeholders.
Act as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, managing communications with professionalism and responsiveness.
At least 1 year of professional experience, preferably in a Compliance, Finance, or Tax environment; prior project management experience is a plus.
Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, often under challenging time constraints.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently as part of a team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to become licensed is required; must be 21 years or older.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 61,600.00 USD - 77,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
