Project description
You will be part of one of the “Client Account, Interest and Cash Management” pod in Zurich-Altstetten, one of several Operational Accounting pods, which are working out of Zurich, Manila and Pune.
We are responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining a large z/OS mainframe-based application portfolio, consisting of batch and online services, which plays a crucial role in our day-to-day operation.
This by taking care for the IT management of our customer’s Cash Accounts in Switzerland, parts of EMEA, Hong Kong/Singapore and the US, providing intraday cash positions and cash availability checks for internal customers and by enhancing and harmonizing booking feeds to several internal booking systems.
The current mainframe z/OS-centric setup is seeing a fundamental change in the next years, as we’re heading towards a cloud-based setup, which gives you the chance to be part of this transition and its challenges from the very first moment.

We are looking for an expert Tech Software Engineer for our ABAP Engineering team with excellent know-how of SAP’s ABAP programming language and profound HANA database knowledge. Someone,
who would like to
engage in full cycle software development including requirements, design, implementation, and
support of systems used by our business partners
work closely with the business and technology partners to design best-in-class solutions and drive
their implementation
develop and deliver high quality software for the Cash Accounting & Client Cash Management
area and its projects
develop and maintain technical documentation
Skills
Must have
Comprehensive experience in the ABAP development with SAP systems, in particular Banking
Services 9.0
Deep experience in S4/HANA and track record of migration of SAP programs onto S/4 HANA
Profound experience in post HANA conversion tasks like changes to SAP programs suggested by
SAP ATC process
Engineering of REST APIs under S/4 HANA
Creation of CDS Views under S/4 HANA
Experience in FS-AM Module
In-depth understanding of and hands-on experience with
BADIs/BAPIs,
implicit and explicit enhancements,
User exits,
SAP workflow and SAP parallel batch
processing.
Strong background in S/4 HANA performance tuning
Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve
software defects and issues
Education in Computer Science and excellent Software Design skills
Minimum five years of experience in a development & analytical role
Nice to have
Knowledge on Microsoft Azure, Red hat Lunix and Ansible scripting.
Knowledge of ABAP Development Programming Skills
Experience on Interfacing to legacy systems to S4 HANA.
