- Seeking an astute individual that has a strong techno-functional foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform, and the product teams.
What you’ll do:
- Facilitates/leads business diagnostics, process analysis and/or design workshops to help flush out as-is and desired to-be solution state and ultimately writes a solution design document to support business requirements
- Understands how the BY solutions within the area of focus can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes needs
- Develops functional business process test scripts which outline new or updated end-user functional processes supported by the solution design which may include standard application functionality, customized modifications, data interfaces, reports/layouts
- Setup and coordinate user acceptance testing efforts which will support final acceptance and critical phase sign-off by the business owners
- Follows up on support cases opened with BY Support Services to help in resolving defects for the customer. Associate is expected to work on both Deploy/Operate in saas world.
- Prepares for and conducts customized end-user training workshops to support application training content outside of base application knowledge / BY Certifications
- Serves as a functional liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between BY project team, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors
- Provides non-technical end user support during the 'go-live' and post-go-live period
- Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team/end users to maximize the customers on their own success after BY’s project roll-off
- Assists Project Managers in planning efforts including detailed project plan task detail (work breakdown structure) based on the specific phase/need of the project
- Communicate project risks that may have a negative impact on the project schedule, scope or budget
- Escalate project issues which surface and cannot be quickly resolved which will have an impact on the project schedule, scope or budget
- Completes assigned and agreed to work within the allotted time and with a high level of quality
- Conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times with BY customers and internal associates
- Provides a variety of technical support to the project team including quality assurance, design review, environment setup oversight, operations consulting, troubleshooting, system testing, programming etc.
- Understand the SaaS Dev Ops process and ensure that project team follows recommended guidelines for test automation, upgrades, code management in consultation with the Technical Architect
- Communicates and/or supports the business use cases to BY Product Management Group and Product Development regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements.
- As required, ability to represent BY in industry conferences workshops preferred
- Recognizes and highlights incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in Logistics/Transportation Management or order/inventory management or as a consultant providing supply chain solutions for customers. Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as i2, Oracle, SAP, Demantra or leading ERP may be considered.
- End to end onboarding of carriers once the mapping specification is completed. Test Plans / Success Criteria etc.80 % Carrier Relations (chase carriers) /Discovery/Liaise with BYN / Testing Carriers 20 % Support"
- Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of order/inventory optimization concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required
- Equally strong technical skills and understanding of SaaS technologies, ability to guide the team on technical aspects of the solution – Containerization (Docker/ Kubernetes), CI/CD, familiarity with Azure platform
- Experience in agile Implementation methodology is preferred
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required
