Overview:

  • Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on implementation experience with the broader technical team, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with platform and the product teams.

Scope:

  • Core responsibilities include technical architecting, integration, implementation, testing and training (along with counterparts and senior functional & technical architects) a ground up cloud native solution (we use Azure) SaaS product in demand and supply planning for Manufacturing & Retail Industry segment.
  • NPI Incubation & Lighthouse team is part of end-to-end solution engineering team within Product Development organization of BY responsible for Demo, PoC, customer implementation, solution training, & support for NPI solutions across demand, IBP and supply planning. The team is currently comprised of global associates across US, India (CoE) and Germany and is expected to grow rapidly. The incumbent will need to have leadership qualities to also mentor junior and mid-level software associates in our team.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive technical architecture and led a team of technical consultants / developers on solution implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects (customer site or offshore) and practice initiatives end to end template, integration workflow and migration development.
  • Technical configuration of new products PoC and demo along with presales and solution demo team.
  • Create templates and artifacts towards reusability and automation decreasing implementation lifecycle, reducing errors post go-live and efficient support operations.
  • Estimate the workload of implementation activities that are within the scope of their skills; assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution, assess integration complexity & architecture.
  • Conduct technical analysis sessions with customers and/or the project team or PD team to understand the functional and technical needs of the customer and develop technical solutions to meet those needs.
  • Design and develop platform workflow/ user interface, integration scripts, data mapping, data modeling and loading of data.
  • Provide a variety of technical support to the team; including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, operations consulting, troubleshooting, system testing, programming, etc.
  • Handle activities with a diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Write and review service descriptions including relevant measures of service quality and drives architecture to deliver on these promises through self-healing, reliable services that require minimum manual intervention.
  • Provide early visibility and mitigation to technical challenges through the journey.
  • Confidently represents product and portfolio, including vision and functional and technical roadmaps, within the company and, when necessary, to strategic customers
  • Prepare and conduct an internal and external solution technical solution training and support larger team enablement.
  • Provides guidance to support services in responding to base technical issues.
  • Perform new product solution validation and end to end data flow, solution, interface, workflow & reports and performance testing. Raise Jira & case tickets & provide feedback to PD/PMG on defects & enhancements.
  • Ready to travel to customer sites based on business needs, and flexible to work with overlapping time zones.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science/STEM Preferred) and 7 to 12 years of experience in software industry.
  • Ideally a candidate that has started as a consultant and has worked his/her way to leading the technical team on 4-6 complete implementation cycles.
  • Technical Background, Supply Chain Planning Industry Experience
  • Demonstrable experience designing, building deploying and maintenance of enterprise cloud solutions (we use Azure) in Azure, AWS and or GCP
  • Demonstrable experience with microservices based architecture on Cloud & Snowflake at scale.
  • Demonstrable experience with Blue Yonder SCPO Platform or similar supply chain / ERP platform
  • Possess technical expertise on Snowflake Data Base, Oracle PL/SQL, Python Scripting, Power BI
  • Has working experience of AI/ ML algorithms in supply chain. Working experience of R, python packages
  • Expertise in data engineering skills using Python libraries (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit learn, juypter)
  • Expertise in exploratory data analysis using python libraries (Matplot lib, Seaborn, Altair)
  • Experience in data science concepts – deep learning(Open AI, NLP) will be added advantage.
  • Hands-on development skills along with architecture/design experience; should not have moved away from software development.
  • Demonstrable experience, thorough knowledge and interests in Cloud native architecture, Distributed micro-services, Multi-tenant SaaS solution and Cloud Scalability, performance and High availability.
  • Strong programming experience and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with API management platforms & providing / consuming RESTful APIs
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation.
  • Demonstrable experience leading, building, deploying and maintenance of enterprise solutions (cloud or on-premise)
  • Expertise on performance tuning techniques and ability to assist other team members with benchmarking and sizing exercises.
  • Good Understanding of secure architectures, secure configuration, identity management,
  • Demonstrable experience with i2/JDA/BY Platform or similar Supply Chain / ERP platform
  • Hands-on development skills; should not have moved away from development activities.
  • Passionate about working with new technologies, products and demonstrate ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills – verbal & written.
