Job Description

As a Technical Lead Manager, Server Frameworks at Google, you will lead and manage a growing team, driving technical excellence. You'll design, implement, extend, and support infrastructure for Kotlin and Java services used by thousands of Google developers. This role involves collaborating with teams to deliver infrastructure improvements, triaging system issues, and debugging. You'll need expertise in Java/Kotlin, API design, and service-oriented architecture. The position requires leading intricate problems requiring broad understanding of Google's infrastructure and high proficiency in Java/Kotlin. Must have:

Lead and manage engineering team
Design, implement, and support infrastructure
Java/Kotlin expertise
API design and service-oriented architecture
Collaborate across teams
Triage and resolve system issues

Good to have:

Experience with Spring Boot
Experience managing a team
Experience developing infrastructure
Contributions to a large code base

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in Java or Kotlin languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with developing infrastructure or making contributions to a code base.
Experience managing a team or aptitude for managing people.
Experience with Spring Boot.
Passion for API design and for building infrastructure.
