Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience building and developing infrastructure or distributed systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in platform engineering.
  • Experience in developing and designing cloud-based applications and services, with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with building scalable systems and has a strong background in software development, with proficiency in languages and tools used at Google (e.g., Go, Java, C++).
  • Good understanding about SRE practices - SLO/SLI and reliability aspects of large-scale service.

  • Design and implement systems that enables users to build reliable and scalable aplication by making it easy to shard and replicate their applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our platform provides a consistent and high-quality experience across all Google platforms, from internal systems (like Borg) to external cloud environments (GCP, GDC, and others).
  • Contribute to the architecture that supports seamless integration of services running on diverse cloud platforms.
