Software Engineer I (Node.js, Python)

Role Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with product owners and back-end developers to translate requirements into functional features.

- Review design specifications and engage in discussions to propose solutions before implementation.

- Work with team leads to refine requirements and provide accurate time estimates.

- Deliver high-quality projects on schedule within an agile, continuous development environment.

- Write and maintain server-side tests to ensure code reliability.

- Optimize existing back-end services and develop new microservices as part of migration efforts.

- Collaborate with the QA team to resolve issues effectively.

- Communicate project status to stakeholders using tools like JIRA.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of software development experience.

- Strong foundation in core programming fundamentals.

- Proficiency in Node.js (Python experience is a plus).

- Willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies.

- Experience with version control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.

- Excellent communication skills and a passion for sharing best practices.

- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document browser/platform compatibility issues.

- Strong focus on code quality, scalability, and simple architectural design.

- Comfortable working in a collaborative, open team environment.
