Test & Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled candidate with a strong background in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems to support train testing and troubleshooting in field environments. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in signaling or telecom systems, network configuration and diagnostics, and industrial communication protocols. Proficiency with electrical tools, network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, and the ability to interpret electrical cabling diagrams is essential. Experience with SCADA systems, railway applications, and cybersecurity knowledge are considered strong assets.

Responsibilities;

• Support train testing of all electrical/electronic/mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot and correct problems as required
• Develop Test Procedures and Reports for all Systems based on engineering documentation, customer specifications
• Test, troubleshoot and correct wiring issues
• Work experience on Electrical tools like Track Sniffer, Scope meter, Shunting, multimeter 
• Knowledgeable on Computer and Network systems: Windows, WireShark, SSH, telnet. 
• Experience in working on field environments, train control rooms or bungalows, wayside tracks. 
• Experience in executing tests on switch machines, track circuits (PF and AF), signals, microprocessors (VPI, Microlok and/or Electrologix) 

Qualifications;

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related field 
• Signaling or Telecom background,
• Ability to read and understand electrical cabling drawings and diagrams,
• Familiar with LANs, WANs, network routers, firewall and TCP-IP technologies,
• Knowledge in industrial communication protocols,
• Experience with configuring and troubleshooting wired and wireless network equipment,
• Experience with common network troubleshooting tools (like Wireshark),
• Experience with SCADA systems and components (servers, RTU, PLC),
• Knowledge in Cybersecurity is a plus
• Experience in railway is a plus.

Salary Range:$100,000-$120,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
