About the Job
The Thumbnail Artist will work with a team to create eye-catching YouTube thumbnails for Minecraft and Roblox Content along with other projects. It's important you have an eye for cute, chibi art-styles and excellent illustration skills. You will follow the entire process of creating a thumbnail from idea generation to execution, which includes both 2D illustration and painting over 3D models. Report and learn from the Thumbnail Manager.
All candidates must deliver a full resume with art samples to be considered for this position.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Management, Lead Artist, and other artists to create finished thumbnail illustrations
- Paint over and composite existing 3D models
- Ensure Photoshop files are clean, and all artwork is properly backed up and saved
- Take notes from creative supervisors
- Sketch thumbnail concepts based on given prompts
- Complete 2D thumbnail illustrations in cute, chibi art-style

- Knowledge of social platforms (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Reddit, Twitch, Discord, etc.) and what variables can affect a video's performance
- Flexibility to be available on weekends for support if needed
