As a UI Visual Designer you will work closely with UX designers, Technical designers, artists and engineers on diverse features teams. You will use your creativity, passion and knowledge of visual design to develop engaging and leading edge visual design content, solve complex problems, and build experiences for our players.
This role will report to the Associate UI Design Director.
Responsibilities:
You will work closely with the production and directors to define and prioritize tasks, help with plan project schedules to ensure that objectives are achievable
Eye for impactful visual composition with the ability to craft visually stunning designs that include screen layout, composition, typography, color theory, illustration, and iconography.
You will execute and grow the visual language of the UI that includes iconography, typography, visual hierarchy, brand expression and motion that align with the art style of the game.
You will contribute to the development of the UI design system to help ensure that players can enjoy a consistent and immersive gaming experience while navigating the game's interface.
Knowledge of usability principles and designing for accessibility.
Experience working with multiple stylistic approaches.
Deliver all phase of production from concept to completion (e.g Mockups, Hi-Fidelity comps, prototypes, production-ready assets that align with the product’s goals and directions )
Qualifications:
You have a collaborative mindset; you enjoy working and sharing ideas + concepts.
Strong knowledge in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and other visual design tools.
Comfortable presenting cohesive design approaches.
Experience creating, contributing to and working with Design Systems.
You are team oriented in a product-focused environment.
Stays up to date on the latest Design Trends and innovations.
Proficient in prototyping in Figma or other design tools.
Bonus: ability to create motion graphics to bring your designs to life.
A portfolio showcasing work samples, inclusive of unique and original designs

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
º $104,000 - $174,700 USD Annually
º $96,400 - $133,900 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan
