About the job
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of gameplay mechanics, features, and systems using Unity 3D or Unreal Engine
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to bring game concepts to life, ensuring a cohesive and engaging player experience
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and playtesting sessions to provide feedback and contribute ideas for game improvements
- Develop and maintain codebase, scripts, and tools to support game development processes and workflows
- Perform bug fixes, optimizations, and performance tuning to ensure smooth gameplay and high frame rates across different platforms
- Research and explore emerging trends, techniques, and technologies in game development to enhance skills and stay current with industry advancements
- Document technical specifications, workflows, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and future development efforts
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
- Strong passion for game development and a desire to learn and grow in the field
- Proficiency in Unity 3D, Unreal Engine, or other game development frameworks
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as C#, C++, or Blueprint scripting
- Familiarity with game design principles, gameplay mechanics, and player interaction concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
